Thai Consul General wishes to grow economic relations with Pakistan

Thailand consul General announced that his country and Pakistan would organize meetings of the joint economic commission which will enhance the economic relations.

He also suggested that both countries would also conduct political consultations at secretary level. He addressed a business community at Faisalabad chamber of commerce and industry (FCCI) and expressed his satisfaction towards economic, diplomatic and political relations of Thailand and Pakistan.

He also mentioned that Pakistan is among Thailand’s significant partners. He also mentioned the figure of last year trade between two sides that increased to USD 1.47 Billion. He also mentioned that some of the Thai companies have already invested in Pakistan while four more companies are about to visit Pakistan to seek more business opportunities. He also showed his concern about FTA (Free Trade Agreement) which is under discussion since 2013.
