Punjab Parliamentary Secretary Adnan Choudhry stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan would initiate the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Rawalpindi. He also stated that the project will be initiated in April. Further, he also shared some of the details that the government had identified the land for the NPHP project.

CDA (Capital Development Authority) owns 1,008 Kanals of land in which 500 Kanals of Land will accommodate affordable houses. The respective authorities have also retrieved about 7000 acres of forest land from illegal occupants.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the project in near future. NPHP project will surely be a new era for the city. This initiative would surely produce more employment opportunities for the locals.
