Islamabad, October 4 – The Capital Development
Authority (CDA) has wrapped up its three-day auction of 13 prime commercial
plots, raising an impressive PKR 16.641 billion, according to recent reports.
The event, held at the prestigious Gandhara Citizen Club, witnessed strong
investor interest, culminating in a successful final day with the sale of 7
commercial plots, generating PKR 4.206 billion alone.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa visited the auction
site on the last day to address investors and ensure transparency in the
process. He assured that the funds raised would be reinvested into enhancing
Islamabad’s urban infrastructure and facilities, benefiting both citizens and
investors.
The winning bids from the auction will now be
presented to the CDA Board for formal review and approval. This milestone marks
another step forward in the development of Islamabad, as the CDA continues its
efforts to attract investors with lucrative opportunities in the city’s
thriving real estate sector.
Chairman Randhawa emphasized that proceeds from the
auction will directly support city projects, particularly in infrastructure
development, green spaces, and improved civic amenities. He reaffirmed the
CDA’s dedication to positioning Islamabad as a key hub for real estate investment
and urban growth.
